Getting There


Access to Hotel Le Sauvage is one of the main reasons it remains a preferred stopover for motorists. The fact that it lies just off the A6 (Route du Soleil) motorway makes it even more accessible. Take Exit 27, Tournus; from there, Le Sauvage is barely two or three kilometers from the toll booth as you head straight into town toward its very center where this hotel sits prominently among other buildings of distinction and character typical in Burgundy’s smaller cities and towns parking access may be through either a large carriage door or side entrance do not hesitate however to park temporarily in front while asking reception for code/access key.

For those arriving by train, Tournus Train Station is located at a distance of five to ten minutes on foot from the hotel (about 500 meters). It lies on the line served by TER regional trains between Dijon, Macon, and Lyon. The walk is easy and flat even with rolling suitcases so you do not necessarily need a taxi unless someone has mobility issues.
